Prayer and Supernatural Moves of God

So much to say today and at the same time, nothing at all to say.

Prayer and Supernatural Moves of God

That was the banner my husband placed over this year. That was the proclamation that made me want to run for the hills.

26 days into this year and already God is moving. 26 days and already prayers have been answered.

Sometimes, God answers your deepest prayers before you even think to ask them fully. Don’t casually petition the God of the universe. He has the power to move and if it is good for you or good for the Kingdom, He will gladly answer.

So, I stand in awe of His work. In awe of His hand in moving supernaturally to answer prayers, prayers that were my deepest desires and yet I set them aside for His glory. How humbling that He would then turn and grant those desires in beauty and truth. To take ashes and make them beautiful. I see His hand in every movement of my life and He DOES know best and He works all things in His timing for His glorious will.

So, I follow. This wasn’t my plan and I may be called a fool, but again I am constrained by the call of God. How dare I not answer?

May we never settle for less than all God calls us to. He is faithful to answer our prayers, may we strive to walk in obedience to His call.

to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
(Isaiah 61:3 ESV)

  1. Yes, amen!!! LOVE these thoughts.

    Nothing can stop our amazing God when He moves. May we surrender joyfully to His goodness and wisdom and sovereignty!

    We put Isaiah 61 on our Christmas card, thinking it was our theme for last year. It looks like it will continue to be our theme for this year, too!

  2. What a beautiful reminder of who God is and how He loves us. Thank you Jullee for that reminder and expressing God’s heart for us. Keep writing girl, you have a gift!
